How It Works
Get Car Diagnosed: It’s important to get the exact diagnostic codes for your vehicle so we can determine whether the issue is truly your hybrid battery or something else. Many symptoms of a failing hybrid battery can also be caused by other problems.
Most auto parts stores will read your vehicle’s codes for free. We’ll ask for these codes when confirming your appointment to make sure we don’t install a battery you may not actually need.
Please have your vehicle diagnosed before requesting an appointment. If your vehicle shows hybrid-battery-specific codes, we’ll be happy to replace your battery!
Schedule Online, Text, or Call: Information we ask for: Current Codes, Year and Model Vehicle, Name, Address Vehicle is Located, Email Address, Phone
Review Invoice: We require a deposit of $250 to be paid 12 hours in advance of the Installation time. This deposit is subtracted from the total cost.
Your installer will be notify you via txt within 2-3 hours of the scheduled appt time with an updated ETA. Please understand our installers may travel from another state and traffic conditions may affect arrival time.
Installation: Your Installer will arrive and replace the Hybrid Battery. They take the core back with them. Once Complete, the Installer will clear the codes, test drive, and re-scan. The Installer will notify you once the Installation is complete. You may pay the remainder of your invoice using tap to pay or following the link in your email. Then, you’re officially part of the herd!

Don’t Assume its your Hybrid Battery!
Check Hybrid System Message: This message is Generic and will display if anything is going wrong that causes the hybrid system to shut down. It means the hybrid computer has detected a problem, which could range from a blocked air intake to a regenerative braking issue to a failing hybrid battery or inverter. There is no combination of lights that specifically tells you the hybrid battery has failed. The only way to tell is to get the diagnostic trouble codes to determine what the specific reason is for the Check Hybrid System Light to illuminate.
Common hybrid battery codes point to battery pack failure or imbalance, with key codes being P0A80 (Replace Hybrid Battery Pack), P0AA6 (Voltage Isolation Fault), P0A7F (Battery Deterioration).
Common Hybrid Battery Codes
P0A80: Replace Hybrid Battery Pack.
P0AA6: Hybrid Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault.
P0A7F: Hybrid Battery Pack Deterioration.
P3011-P3024: Indicates voltage imbalance between specific battery blocks, a key sign of module failure
What to Do
Get it Scanned: Use an OBD-II scanner capable of reading hybrid codes. Auto Parts stores usually do this for free.
Check the 12V Battery: A weak 12V battery can cause erratic hybrid system readings. This can be done at the Auto Parts store while your there having the codes checked.
Replace or Repair: If you have any of the codes listed above you likely need your Hybrid Battery Replaced. Please share all the codes that are present that way we can determine if it’s just your hybrid battery or if something else is causing your battery to fail.
