How It Works
Get Diagnosed
You can get the codes ran from anyone with an OBD2 scanner. Auto Parts Stores will usually check codes for free. We will ask you for the current codes when we confirm your appointment to prevent us installing a battery when you may not need it. Please have the vehicle diagnosed before requesting an appointment. If it has Hybrid Codes we will be happy to replace your Battery!

Review Invoice
We require a deposit of $400 to be paid 12 hours in advance of the Installation time. This Deposit is subtracted from the total cost.
You will be notified when your installer is on the way with an updated ETA. Please understand our installers may travel from another state and traffic conditions may affect arrival time.

Installation
Your Installer will arrive and replace the Hybrid Battery. They take the core back with them.
Once Complete, the Installer will clear the codes, test drive, and re-scan.
The Installer will notify you once the Installation is complete. They do not carry card readers. You will need to pay the invoice following the link in your email. Then, you’re officially part of the herd!

Based out of North Carolina we are Currently Operating in the Mid-East Coast States with plans to expand soon. Having a specialized service area lets us keep our cost down and response time low so we can fix your car as quick as possible!
If you are outside the Service Area and are Interested in our Hybrid Batteries please submit a contact form letting us know. We are planning on implementing a shipping option for the diy-ers and folks that want to handle the install themselves.
Mobile installation for your Hybrid Battery is Free for every Battery. The only Condition is that you are inside the Service Area.

Free Mobile Installation is included with the purchase of every Hybrid Battery! An Installer will come to you and replace the whole battery on site.

Reconditioned Buffalo Batteries go through a rigorous testing process to ensure there’s high quality modules in every battery. Testing includes but isn’t limited to measuring capacity, voltage under load, voltage drop, self decay, and temperature.

It’s not just the bus bars! The terminal nuts that secure the bus bars and voltage sensing harness are nickel plated to prevent corrosion and improve performance.

The installer will offer to clean the hybrid fan while we have the vehicle apart. We do this to set our battery up for success. Having proper airflow is important to battery functionality.

Every Battery includes a warranty with Unlimited Mileage! We encourage you to drive the vehicle and exercise the battery to keep it functioning properly.

Buffalo Battery is proud to be the only major aftermarket battery supplier to provide a New Voltage Sensing Harness made here in America. The Harness is made with new nickel plated copper wires and soldered pins/terminal rings to prevent corrosion and ensure the ECU/Voltage Sensor is receiving the correct voltage. Most companies re-use the old corroded harness which can be detrimental to battery performance. Providing a new harness is one way Buffalo Battery shows it’s dedication to quality.

We install the whole battery including the ECU / Voltage sensor. This is a critical component that transmits data from the battery to the car’s ECU.
Buffalo Battery is the only company that has proprietary technology that allows us to tap directly into the voltage sensor, bypassing the car’s ECU to verify it works before it gets to the car.
