Buffalo Battery
Lifetime Warranty
Buffalo Battery LLC believes in the quality of our products and offers a limited lifetime warranty subscription for selected hybrid battery purchases. Application is not enrollment and enrollment is not guaranteed. Buffalo Battery reserves the right to deny any applicant without reason. All battery types must be used for the purposes and applications for which they are intended, advertised or marketed by Buffalo Battery.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS PHYSICAL INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE, INCONVENIENCE, RENTAL VEHICLE, TOWING CHARGES, OR ACCOMODATIONS RESULTING FROM THE FAILURE OF THE BATTERY.
1. The Hybrid Battery installed by Buffalo Battery is under warranty so long as the warranty subscription has been paid and the warranty conditions are met.
2. Buffalo Battery will honor the conditions of the Warranty as long as the vehicle is in the Buffalo Battery Service area, driven at least 30 miles/month and meets all other conditions. Buffalo Battery is not responsible for any transportation or towing cost for the vehicle to be moved into the Buffalo Battery service area.
3. The warranty becomes null and void if the vehicle is totaled, in an accident or otherwise written off.
4. The warranty cannot be reinstated if the subscription is cancelled. A missed payment will be interpreted as a cancellation and cannot be rectified.
5. Conditions beyond the control of Buffalo Battery are not anticipated or covered by this warranty policy. Certain malfunctions can cause premature battery failure, for example (but not limited to) when the vehicle is driven on battery power alone, engine failure, abs issues, or out of gas.
6. This warranty does not cover:
a) Failure due to misuse, abuse, modification, accident or collision, or improper installation. The use of a battery for a purpose for which is not intended, advertised or marketed by Buffalo Battery constitutes misuse and is not covered under any warranty.
b) Parts under manufacturer’s recall for a related problem.
c) Parts installed on vehicles used off-road or for racing purposes.
d) Parts installed on a commercial use vehicle
e) If airflow to the battery is impeded in any way

7. The warranty is void if the hybrid battery is removed, damaged or tampered with without explicit permission from Buffalo Battery.
8. The warranty is void if the hybrid battery is removed from the vehicle of the original sale.
9. If a 12V battery is installed by Buffalo Battery it is covered by the 12V battery manufacturer’s warranty, not through the Buffalo Battery warranty. Buffalo Battery is not responsible for any repairs or replacements with respect to the 12V battery and takes no responsibility for its performance. Customer acknowledges that in no event shall Buffalo Battery be liable for any losses due to the 12V battery.
10. Vehicle ownership is not a condition of warranty.
11. The Warranty is transferable between people. Follow the Transfer Warranty Guide. Once completed, the new subscriber will be fully responsible for warranty subscription payments. Failure to pay the warranty subscription at any point will result in cancellation.
Batteries will not last a lifetime but your coverage can. To execute a warranty claim please follow the instructions below:

1. Contact Buffalo Battery within ten (10) business days of first knowledge of defects with the Subscriber Name, VIN number, Current Mileage, All Diagnostic Trouble Codes and 12v battery health report. In most areas the Diagnostic Trouble Codes and 12v battery health report can be obtained by a local auto parts store for free. Please be prepared with these items so that the warranty process is as smooth as possible. Check Hybrid System Message is generic and can occur for many different reasons including but not limited to the hybrid battery. It is for this reason that Buffalo Battery is not responsible for obtaining a diagnostic test. A weak 12v battery can cause a false P0A80 which is why we ask for the 12v battery health report. If the 12v battery health report indicates the 12v battery is below 11v, State of health is below 30% or CCA is below 70% then the 12v will need to be replaced before a warranty is initiated.
2. Buffalo Battery shall be given the first opportunity to make repairs or replacements. Buffalo Battery shall have 30 days from Buffalo Battery confirmation of notification and confirmation of Warranty conditions to make any repairs or replacement.
3. The Lifetime Warranty is valid as long as the conditions outlined in the warranty are met and so long as Buffalo Battery remains in business.
Release: By accepting this product and service from Buffalo Battery, owner of the vehicle does hereby waive and release any claim now or in the future against Buffalo Battery, its agents, directors, employees, officers or customers, on account of any and all claims, suits, demands and legal proceedings, whether criminal or civil, damages, losses, liabilities (including, but not limited to, strict liability in tart), judgments, penalties, sanctions, fines, and any costs arising from, or in connection therewith, including legal fees which may result out of injury to or death or loss or damage to property or the loss of use of any property which may come about out of the possession, condition, use or operation of this product and service.
Jurisdiction: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or related in any way to this Warranty which cannot be amicably resolved by the parties shall be solely and finally settled by arbitration administered by the American Bar Association in accordance with its commercial arbitration rules. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The arbitration shall take place before a panel of three (3) arbitrators sitting in Chatham County, in the State of North Carolina. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitrators will be bound to adjudicate all disputes in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. The decision of the arbitrators shall be in writing with written findings of fact and shall be final and binding on the parties. Each party shall bear its own costs relating to the arbitration proceedings irrespective of its outcome.
